VEO PRODUCTIONS

Veo means “I see” in Spanish. Seeing the world through singular eyes, it was in this spirit that writers and directors Sandrine Mercier and Juan Gordillo Hidalgo created Veo Productions in 2007.

Their films build a bridge between France and Spain, and bear witness to society's upheavals in a certain tradition of committed cinema.

Producer Iréna Lopez joins the duo to open the door to fiction. Interrogating the universal through the intimate, the social and the political, Veo's bold editorial line is inspired by the world of poetic realism.
